Doesn't look like it to me either. I Only noticed a day or two ago that she was getting plump. Tonight she looked huge. She is pretty and well tempered too-I'm not big on holding them, workin on getting over the deer of a rat bite. We had some nasty ones when I was younger and I think I'm a bit traumatized lol

About two days. It usually happens 3 weeks into the pregnancy.

And if you're worried about the babies being mean like your trauma inducing fluffy from the past- make sure to start getting them used to your smell and touch early on. as soon as the mother leaves them in search for food you can give them a light cleaning and start this process. Hamsters will eat the their babes if you try this, rats mommies are way better at what they do.
Just be mindful of the momma, shell be kinda hormonal and might not act herself for a little bit during/after the pregnancy (ie she might try to bite you). She'll be back to her docile self soon after though.

You still have a little while before she drops.
I love seeing them all fat and dumpy

Re: Getting Excited
Cute momma! Yeah, she will get bigger, you still have a bit.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.
