When we got him he was very thin we have only had him since dec 22 since then he has grown about 4 in and doubled his size I was told when I had gotten him that they couldent get him to eat but he ate for us first time no problem and still does other then the rats and the rat we have is the same size as the full size mice we have been giving him

When we got him he was extremly thin we got him dec 22 they told us they couldent get him to eat but he ate for us the first time and has continued to since other then the rat and the rat we have is the same size as the mice we have been feeding him hes grown quite a bit since we got him about 4 mabey 5 inches and almost doubled his weight since then

I wont feed in same enclosure never have dont wana take the risk and this is what he is used to as soon as we put him in the feeding tank he knows exactly what is coming I feel more comfortable with this

If it works for you and him then no sense in changing I suppose...and he looks pretty good in that last pic you posted. Good job on getting him in shape.

Yeah we love this little guy so we have done everything we can for him hes a little dark in the photos couse hes getting ready to shed just our first bp so wanted to make sure he is at the weight he should be we do t even know the age or even if hes even a he
