To Buy or Not To Buy….

    So, quick question:

2013 Enchi for $100 at the Local Pet Shop…should I get it to not??

Enchi is my absolute FAVORITE morph, but I'm going to have to put up a hard fight to convince my parents about a 2nd snake…should I go for it with this one or should I wait and try for a "better" morph like an albino or a piebald??

It really depends on what YOU want, I know a guy that just likes the look of a Normal Ball and has 3 of them. If you really like the morph, get it, if not, don't.

Most difficult thing to do, but that's how I got the one I have now lol

They also have a black pastel…don't know much about the morph, but what could you breed with that??

EDIT–Just saw the super black pastel on WOBP…maybe I should get both of these animals lol

pictures would help, so that we can confirm that its really the morph its advertised as, and to judge the quality.

what makes me wonder a bit is that normally, you get the lowest prices when breeders offer deals or auctions or try to move stuff near the end of a reptile show. pet stores usually dont have the best prices because they work with large profit margins. if they get a hatchling for 20, they sell it for 100. when they have to pay 100 to get something, they charge 500 for it.

that makes me a bit suspicious of an enchi, for 100 dollars, at a pet store. it sometimes happens that breeders sell all their normals and basic morphs and hets to wholesalers for 20 dollars a piece, and focus on actually marketing the more advanced gene combinations, where high shipping costs and other overhead costs are more justified. but i would be cautious.

Whatever you do decide just make sure you run it by your parents first. They will respect you for showing respect for them. It will get you way further than going behind their back. One day you will have a full room of snakes. Goodluck.
