Is this normal? (Shedding)
Eissa is shedding I believe but I'm not sure if things are going how they should or if I should be concerned.
A while back his eyes went blue. After a few days they cleared up and he looked normal. With that being said he appeared to be in track with shedding but the other day I picked him up to take a look at him and I could feel that he was shedding and I could see it. Now that was about on Friday and today I Monday. I took him out again today and he's wrinkly and i can see the shed trying to come off. He's shed his head and it just stopped at his neck.
I could make sure his humidity was up at all times so that should be fine. I've kept it at 60-75. I soaked him today which was nerve wracking. He hated it.
Any advice?

Re: Is this normal? (Shedding)
Well his skin is coming off in patches and he kept crawling way up and getting what appeared to be stuck so I moved him gently into his humid hide (I fed him today. He was acting very hungry) and now since moving him he moved to the cool hide and his tail is sticking up. Is this a sign of circulation being cut off ? Oh I hope not. He's had stuck shed for 2-3 days?

Put him in a sterilte tub about 6 inches high max for about an hour. Fill it up with barely luke warm water just deep enough to cover the snakes body. Remember what is warm to your touch is probably too warm for your snake. Put a dish towel in as well for him to rub against. Take him out after the hour and the stuck shed should come off. You might need to gently assist if the remaining shed is tattered.
Don't worry that he hates to soak. It won't hurt him.
How are you measuring the humidity?
Good luck!

Measuring humidity with acurite. I'll have to try the bath thing tomorrow since today I heard him hiss for the first time. Sacred and shocked me quite a bit.
I was trying to see his tail tip and so I moved the fake plant that he's curled into a bit and he hissed. I think he's stressed and he did eat yesterday too. I've had to gently lift him and move him twice yesterday after eating. It was for a total of less than a minute but I still feel iffy about it.
His humidity has been at like 80-85 since adding moss hide. It sometimes stays at 88 for a. It which is a bit scary I think.
