    Mites under scales...are they dead.

Treated my 2 snakes for mites...however there are still some under the scales of my rosy boa & round the eyes of both her & my BP...when I scraped some out (with a q-tip) the ones that I managed to get out were all dead.
So will they just fall out on their own...or should I still be worried. It seems impossible to get them out from around the eyes! Its pretty frustrating. Am hoping they are actually dead...they sure looked like it.

Let them soak in a tub if you have one for awhile, fill it 3/4 there thickness and let them soak for awhile, a lot of the dead mites will fall off. Otherwise they will slowly fall of with time and for sure on the next shed
