What do you use for bins?
im starting a new thread because this is totally off topic of my previous thread, so i apologize in advance if that annoys anyone XD
anyway so quick breakdown currently using 32qt sterilelite tubs for all my snakes looking to build a new rack and up the tub size to 41 ishh just bigger. now seeing as im building it myself i could do the hole CD gap thing so i dont need lids which opens up more tub possibilities
http://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-1960...words=underbed
^^ $82 for 6 ... seems crazy to me seeing as i paid like $5 each for the 32qt tubs. i have seen people using things like the tubs buss boys use in restaurants and what not.
so looking for cheaper alternatives thanks

I currently use 15 quart sterilites for the younger snakes until they reach 300 grams or so then its into a 32 quart they go. I'm currently drawing up a design for a rack that will hold 12, 60 quart tubs for the females (and one male who I don't want to put into a smaller tub long story) as they get older. Adult males should be just fine in 32 quart tubs, I'm putting my females into 60 quarts once they hit a certain weight. These are all sterilites that have the purple handles too.

another problem i seem to be running into is the 41qts are roughly 18X35 and @35 the rack would stick off the wall too far for my liking and if i put them sideways the rack would be really long maybe something more square 24x24 26x26 something like that close to the same amount of space for the snake but more options for building the rack i'm trying to think outside the box to find different types of possible bins and not coming up with much.

Just make sure they are something that is easy to find if you need replacements. Or buy twice as many as you need.
$13 for a 41qt tub isnt too bad btw

I use these for males and Juvi's and 41qt cb70's for adult females and big males. For babies I use a 6qt sterilite tub.

I am pretty sure the 41qt tubs are cheaper in stores than on Amazon. I don't recall my 41qt tubs being that expensive.
Although, I do encourage to use IRIS, Freedom Breeder, ARS, or Vision tubs. They are pricy, but they don't change the dimensions or design of their tubs. So it would be easier to find replacements in the future. Sterilite and Rubbermaid are constantly changing their tubs. So unless you stock up now, its going to be difficult to find replacements in the future.

I use the new Zip-loc brand tubs.. they work great and have a nice sealing lid.
