Recently i have seen a few posts concerning their bp's and never seeing them drink water.
I had seen mine only drink twice since I got him in Dec and that was right when I first got him.
I have notice every morning early 5-7am he would be poking his head out of his hide or I would see his body extended out about 1/2-1/3 of it from his hide ( water dish center of cage, hide on each end) and I would be wondering why he was up and about since it was daylight.
Well today I saw why, in the AM he will just extend his long skinny little neck out of his hide and over to his dish and drink. I caught him drinking for about 3mins straight then some neighbors outside made a bunch of noise and the vibes from this must have sent him back in his hide.
So maybe it's an early AM thing with some of these guys and thats why we miss it.
I was just glad to see him drink, I knew he did , but it was like trying to catch Santa to catch him drinking.
    Just wanted to share

I guess most animals are like that in the wild. They feel vulnerable when they stick their mouths in the water hole and cannot smell any predetor that maybe lurking nearby. Seems logical, ya?

Well, just as i was reading this thread I looked over to Cheetahs tank. Guess what he was doing? Yup, he was getting himself a drink and now he has returned to his hide. Now how Ironic is that?
