BP weights.
My female weighed in at 795 grams on Dec 4th, that was 4 days adter feeding her a largish small rat. Today I weighed her and she's at 866 grams 2 days after feeding a rat aprox the same size. My mail weighed 492 grams on the 4th and is now at 605 grams after feeding on the 5th. Are these good weights for 2 days post feeding? Yes I am trying to put weight on both. They don't look underweight until you pop them on a scale. Thanks for advice.

Best way to monitor weight is to weigh them empty. Weighing after a meal isn't an accurate measurement. My het albino boy (cb12) was 673 full after a shed and a poo he was 617g empty!
All BP's grow at different rates! Try to get empty weights if you can and monitor it that way.

Re: BP weights.
Depends on the age as well. To expand on the previous post, I weigh my little monster religiously, before feeding, 3 days after and I weigh her food as well. To be fair, I'm a little OCD with her.

Without pics it's hard to say.
If they look healthy, they are fine. If you feed them consistently, they will put on weight.

Re: BP weights.
My female was put on a couple forced food strikes while with friends. She's 4 yrs old. The male I just got on Nov 30th he's a late 2012 or early 2013 yearling. Like I said they don't look underweight. I won't post pics because the frinds that were keeping her for me may see and recognize her and get pissed at me. I know she's about 4 ft long. She's more on the slender side. She eats almost every time I offer food except while in shed. I am still getting to know him but he snagged the rat I fed him no problem. Usually I do a 7 day feeding cycle but with the possibility of her accidentally breeding I am trying to get more weight on her. I don't want the possibility of her dying from being accidentally bred last week. So that's why I'm asking.

Re: BP weights.
It's also good to be consistent with the weigh ins as well. You want to make sure they're maintaining a consistent growth rate/pattern.

Ah yes, I remember this situation now and understand better why you're weighing after feeding etc. By all means keep weighing them but just keep in mind that empty weight are the ones which matter most. Keep offering food as usual and keep monitoring

Re: BP weights.
Yep now you understand why I'm concerned with her weight lol. She looks really fat right now after 2 meals 5 days apart and hasn't pooped yet. I don't want to over feed her and get her impacted.
