I'd like to give a big shout out to the food of the gods: hot dogs. Also known as the essence of perfection and my salvation.

Barf. You and my husband. Must be a diabetic/hotdog thing... Hot dogs are nasty. I can only stomach them in roll ups if they are the Hebrew kosher dogs.

Looks yummy! I unfortunately didn't take pictures, but I made cream of sweet potato soup for Thanksgiving. It looked just like that, but orange, and is very much a comfort food - especially when paired with homemade bread.

That looks great. my wife loves pumpkin soup though I've never been particularly partial to it. Maybe I just haven't stumbled on the right recipe yet. Never thought of using white pumpkins, we seem to make up a lot of pies and soup and smoothies with pumpkins this time of year, I wonder what a pie would be like with white pumpkin?
