Python won't come out of behind toilet!

Hi all, I came here specifically for help with my ball python. She is about 1.5 ft long and has a favorite spot that is between the wall and back of my toilet in a hole at the base of the toilet. I can only fit my hand in there, and cant feel her...thats how deep the hole is. She has been in there for several hours.

I have cracked the window and turned the lights off in order to lower the temp. And i put her heating pad in front of the toilet where she has to get out in order to bask.

    Anything else i can do?

    Thanks

I saw the heading to this and I am so sorry but I started laughing! I know this is serious so I shall compose myself.

You could try to entice her out with food? If it gets cold she may bury herself further into the hole rather than coming out? I have never experienced anything like this so it's just speculation from me. I hope you get her out! I would advise stopping her going there in the future though due to issues like this. Good luck!

I'd say you have better luck keeping the heat up and using food as a lure.

If she gets cold she is likely to just stay where she feels safe.

Lol i know its funny. She got out of her cage in the middle of the night and snuck in there. Im going to stuff the area with paper towels once i get her out. She just ate yesterday night! Lol so she isnt going to respond to food right?

Will that still work if i just live fed her last night? She is not used to thawed but will the scent entice her if she is full?

She still may come out when she smells food. Even if she isn't hungry I would imagine she would investigate...

You're not hopeless! When things like this happen your brain goes "What can I do?!" And you do what comes to mind first. Trust me I have done much sillier things. I would keep it warm for her and put down salt (I may be wrong about salt hoping salt is okay, someone will correct me If I'm wrong) if you can't get her out so you can see where she has moved to if she does come out.

She may not go for the food but worth a try!
