I wouldn't worry, as long as the temps are good, s/he's eating and drinking and pooping.
Mine has WEEKS where he will only go in one hide, then switches (hot vs. cold side as well).

Yah both sides are identical and temps as stated so I guess from the sounds of it its a female thing this time of the year. However, she hasn't pooped for quite some time. Eating normally and pees but no poop

Again, snakes are funny
I had mine for 2 months and didn't find a poop. Everything was fine, and now he poops almost every week.
I have heard that some only poop after shedding, some it's like clockwork, and some... like every couple of months. They're all different! Sounds to me like everything is dandy.

Re: Cold and hot side hide habits
Funny thing is I have 2 identical hides in my tank for my little guy..he always hangs in the hot side, never uses the cool side..so I switched the warm side hide for another hide,he went right in and right out went and stayed in the cool side...switched the hide back to the reg,he was back on his warm side, crazy stuff...
