Re: What do you use to clean your terrarium/tubs?

Generic unscented baby wipes to clean the tub after removing soiled substrate when spot cleaning, F10 for disinfecting after a whole-tub deep cleaning.

Soap and hot water if the tub is really dirty. Otherwise the tub is scraped out and filled with clean bedding once a week. I disinfect on rare occasions. There's just no need to keep everything hospital sterile all the time.

Re: What do you use to clean your terrarium/tubs?

It seems like most of you use the F10. What's the delution rate do you use?

On their website it says 1:250 to 1:500. Is this correct?

    F10SCXD cleaner I did around 1:300.

    F10SC disinfectant I was around 1:300.

That range on their website seems correct.

It depends on what you want to kill. 1:250 will take out everything from MRSA down (if applied correctly), and that's the strength I use. A rack is a pretty small little ecosystem, and if anything gets a chance to take hold it would spread rapidly, and the snakes can't move away of their own volition.
