I know! I hope it's a female, if so I am keeping her. I don't own any normals but that one looks great and I produced it!

Sad news
I lost the normal today, no idea on why. It was eating fine. Two of the other snakes refuse to eat so I am considering assist feeding.

Re: My first clutch of ball python eggs.
Sorry for your loss.
I don't know why you lost the normal but if they are healthy you shouldn't need to panic yet. We had four in this last clutch that wouldn't eat. Went three tries with live rat pups, then three tries with mouse hoppers. One took to the mouse hoppers on the first try so we had three that still weren't eating after 6 attempts. Force fed the three after the 7th week. I mean literally pushing the food item into their throat. After that they all assist fed pretty easily and still are, which is about 5 times each now. However, I think they are about to kick in any time as each time we attempt to feed, they seem a little more ready to strike on their own. Be patient and best of luck to you.
