    Looking at possible morphs.

As some people have read my posts before know I have a 3 yr old normal female. I am looking at getting another bp. I have seen tons of morphs out there that are very pretty but I prefer the darker balls. I know I'm weird but my girl is dark and I want one that will compliment her. No they won't be housed together. The ones I have seen so far that have caught my attention are calico and of course pied. I'm not going to get one until I really find the one I love. No I'm not looking at breeding but would like a male this time. Any opinions are encouraged also anything to watch out for like the spider head wobble so I don't freak the first time I see it.

The axanthic, black pastel and a good cinnamon are some of the nice darker BP's in my opinion. There are so many different variations so it would depend on if you were looking for a base morph or one of the "designer" morphs. Also a lot would depend on the budget, how much you wish to spend on said BP.

    Re: Looking at possible morphs.

Besides not knowing which one I'm going to yet money is a reason I'm just looking. I want to have housing for him, and the money to get a good one. I don't want a badly bred one. So inorder for me to afford him Im saving up. I would rather not spend thousands on him as my husband would literally kill me lol. So like those 8 balls oare out. They are gorgeous but then again I like the interesting patterns.

Black pastel, cinnamon, black axanthic, calico/sugar, chocolate, sable
I've seen a few chocolate mojaves and they were very nice. Take a look at WOBP morph list to get a feel for the morphs and combos

Go to the next show in your area. Pics are great, but in person things can catch your eye that don't show up well in a pic for some reason.
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

That's true. I have 3 or 4 show available to me within a couple of hours...I forget not everyone necessarily has the same options.

I use WOBP to check out the morphs. It's got all the morphs listed.

I've also used the pythonregius site. I think it's handy having all the pics on one page. Makes it easy to start getting a basic idea on what a morph looks like.

    For base morphs:
    http://pythonregius.com/basemorphs.aspx

    For combos:
    http://pythonregius.com/designermorphs.aspx

Not all the morphs are there, it's just what he sells, but he's got a lot of them.

    Re: Looking at possible morphs.

I haven't decided on a price point just under a thousand I guess. The next show is toward the end of November. I know mu husband wouldn't want to go because he shares his father bias against snakes to an extent. He likes them WAY over there not in his home. He's afraid for our goober boys even though balls don't get big enough to kill and eat humans. My father in law wants to kill my girl just because shes a snake and he thinks shes like a burmese or rock. My husband has said that as long as I don't take them oit while the boys are "around" and I made sure they were secure then I can have them so he has relaxed in that. I know for a fact I will never have one of the larger constrictors because I would not be able to properly care for it. There is a pet store owner I trust in the same town as the show and I could ask him to look around and price some for me. He's a really good guy and knows his snakes. He also knows what to look for as he breeds some. He is also going to be a vendor at this show.
