I'm not trying to be funny here but you seem to be flitting from post to post giving out quite rude remarks. This guy has asked for advice and perhaps constructive criticism is healthy but you are giving neither.

This was my plan. Honestly there is a good chance my BP is a male, which tend not to get as big. I'll probably keep him in a divided one his whole life. If he really starts pushing past 4' I'll consider opening it up and getting another tank for whatever snake I have in the other half (which is inevitable). I also do enjoy cluttering up the tanks anyway. If it provides security for the snake, that's great! But honestly I do like the way it looks too haha.

Thanks Aaron for the Heat Tape heads up. I was worried about stacking cage on top of cage with the tape sandwiched between.

I own and use one of these exact cages with a 6ft Jungle Carpet inside... Mine is heated with a 60W Pro-Products panel that I had on hand to install myself. This setup works well for arboreals, but I tend to think it is too tall/arboreal-style for a BP. Try a shorter cage with flex-watt belly heat as mentioned above. Works great for my boas and big python in their terrestrial pvc-constructed cage.
