    My Realistic Wish List

So I've had a rack with 5 drawers for about 6 months with only 3 occupants. I also have a couple spare tanks just lying around and it has been driving me crazy. After looking and considering that I won't be happy until all my space is occupied, I think I've made my picks for what I want and can afford. I currently have 1.0 Normal, 1.0 Butter het Orange Ghost, and a 0.1 Orange Ghost. I plan on purchasing a male Citrus Pewter from Ace of Snakes first (if all goes well.) That still leaves me with 2 open spots for 2 females. I have always wanted a Bumblebee, and totally love the look of Mojaves. I think that should even out the odds of boys and girls and also give me some variety. I can't picture myself spending over $400 on a single BP (not judging anyone, that's just me personally.) What do you think of my wish list? I know there are way crazier morphs available but when it comes to looks (and cost) some of the basics are my favorites. I'm also willing to hear some suggestions now that you know my budget. I may not be aware of a morph that's affordable, cool looking, and available to me. I would also like to know if anyone can point me to a breeder that has the morphs I'd like and is reputable and reasonable. I am in Southern California but am not against going with someone out of state who can ship, is a good breeder, and is great with customer service. Thanks in advance everyone!

I'm here in Long Beach and have a pretty good variety that you may like. According to you list, a couple of my Mojave het OG girls may be be a nice place to start looking.

I'd look at expos for your wishlist. Prices will be less than buying online and paying shipping, plus you'll get to handle the animal first. We have just one ball python right now - a bumblebee. We love him. I think they are one of the prettiest morphs.

    Re: My Realistic Wish List

Ditto on shopping at shows;however, I also use Kingsnake.com a lot as well. I am in the process of completing a small breeding group myself which includes a female pastel and a normal het albino, males: albino and bumblebee; I have the pastel now, but some of the others just hatched and will be shipped over once they are eating well...total cost will be $500 plus $125 for the pastel (purchased at a recent show). In the future I am also thinking of getting a female BEL to pair with my normal male. That list seems to play pretty well with your genetics, just do not neglect those recessive genes with co-dom genes, that is were the fun begins if you ask me.

    Re: My Realistic Wish List

I would love to have a male dark pied or calico. I have a really dark female normal that might make pretty babies with them but I don't want a lot of balls cause my husband would "beat" me lol. He doesn't mind 1 or 2 as long as they are well kept and secure. He just doesn't want me to have a zoo on the house. Plus Im picky. The lighter balls are pretty but I love the darker colors. After my girl sjeds and destresses I will post a pic of her and ask what kind of male to possibly breed her to in the future. I want both to be healthy and she isn't right now.
