New (to me) car! ...again D:
So, for those not in the know, I totaled my old car (a 98 Ford Escort) nearly three weeks ago in an accident. No one was hurt badly thankfully, but my car was a wreck. We had insurance, and my grandparents love me so I was able to a) get a new car fairly quickly and b) get an upgrade to my old one!
I don't exactly want to upgrade via insurance again, but I am tickled with this one and that it worked out the way it did. She is an AWESOME car and I'd done a lot of looking around before I settled on a model that fit my criteria (smaller size and cute) and my families (good storage, under 4k, and pretty reliable). Her name is Normandy because I name things haha. It's a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3

I'd really wanted to get a seatbelt for my dog in my last car, but never got around to it. After the crash and getting this one, that was one of the first things I did. I'm notttt so sure if he likes it much, but I feel better with him secured.

Oh wow, this is kind of funny! My Chevy Cobalt got totaled a month ago and I ended up with a 2005 Ford Focus SE ZX5 in a manual. They are super fun little cars! Mine is dark red and named Bubbles.
Congrats!!

Nice! One of the ones that I was looking at but ended up being out of my price range was a ZX5. The dimensions are the same in the two cars, but it's bizarre to imagine a second set of doors on mine haha.
