    My two new rescues..

I recently picked up a ball python that was neglected pretty bad.. THe guy I got him from said he feed him weekly, but it had been about a week and a half since he was last fed.... okay, yea right. Poor thing is SKINNY. He ate a weanling rat and then a medium rat for me. The picture was taken today and he ate yesterday and he doesnt even looking like he has two rats in him. The guy said he "would only eat live"... and yet he took two FT rats for me right away!

I havent come up with a name yet. But he's very sweet and ALWAYS wanting more food. But I'm making him wait a week before I feed him again (and I say 'him' but I dont know the sex). Sorry for the spilt water. His eye caps were all crinkly like so I figured he dumped the water on purpose. Also, the bin that he is in is only temporary. No matter the gender of the snake, he has a permanent home here.

And now for my second rescue. Sadly he is not a ball python, or a reptile ,but he sure is cute! Believe it or not we found him on our way back home after I had gotten the snake. My husband named him Zombie because his eye is scratched. The vet already check him out and he is fine other than his eye being scratched and him being underweight. This little guy is also here to stay forever.

Excuse the mess. My husband and I are getting our own place the beginning of next year, so things are a little cramped atm.

He LOVES his toys and already knows how to sit! He is such a good boy and is doing great on potty training. He is on Wellness dog food.

    I just love them both!
