    Re post--Rescued BP/ Questions!

***Hey everyone (sorry this is a repost, I messed up on the other and I'm still new here and have no idea how to work everything or delete previous posts, forgive me )***

So before I begin I just wanted to let you all know that I already have a ball python (Bruno, a pastel male from Royal Constrictors) for 3 years this month and I had and currently own other reptiles, so I am experienced.

Alright, so I adopted a ball python the other day from my local pound. He/she was taken in after someone found it in their back yard. It had to have been a pet that had escaped or been let go because it is very tame and is very relaxed around people, not even curling up in a ball, but not trying to escape either. Ball pythons aren’t wild in Florida either, unlike their 30ft cousins haha you Floridians know what I am talking about. My mom is so worried it is not a ball python because it is pretty hefty, my guess it’s a full-grown male or small female about 3-4ft and weighs 3 pounds. Can you guys confirm that it is a ball python to make my mom feel better? I am 100% percent sure it is though!

    So here are my questions:

    1. It has even spaced black bumps (maybe healing wounds) on its spine starting from the middle of its body down to the tail. I haven’t seen anything like that. Maybe someone knows?

    1. What morph do you think it is? It looks like a light normal or browned out pastel (by the way I can tell it is going to shed soon). What do you think?

Additional things: It is in a separate room and tank (20 gallon) from my other one. I will be getting bigger tanks though! Also I am getting it sexed tomorrow and I am setting up an appointment to get it checked for any illness or parasites.

    Thanks for reading!!!

Haha thanks, I had to make sure for my mom. She is a little extreme sometimes even though I told her I own one and I would lay my life on it. Any thoughts if it is a pastel or normal?
