Hi
I saw this pied male hatchling online the other day. The breeder told me that one of the eyes of the snake is smaller than the other one. I then asked for some close up pics. Breeder said that he has no problem feeding.
Just wondering if this is normal and ok to get him.

No, it's not normal for baby balls to hatch with a shriveled up eye...and I personally wouldn't breed him...

Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
Always sitting by your side,
Always by your side...
That cat's something I can't explain...
So what is causing this to happen? genetic defect? or just some incubation problems?
I would think it's just a genetic defect. Could have been an incubation problem but probably no way to tell. Seems like kinks (and wacky patterns) are the most common result from incubation problems, although I could be wrong. If you're looking for a pet, I'd grab him up as I'm sure he's perfectly healthy otherwise. If you plan on breeding, I'd definitely pass. There's no shortage of Pieds these days...
