Power feeding

I know power feeding is not the correct way to care for your ball python. But what is considered power feeding? Cause I fed my ball python from when I first got it every 5 days cause it was younger, and I know they need more food at the younger ages. But he's getting older now, and I'm cutting down to once a week with bigger rats.

Your feeding schedule is fine.
If you really wanted to, you can even cut down to every 10-14 days if you like once he's an adult. But once a week is good if he's smaller.

Power feeding is force feeding your snake.
An example of power feeding is daisy chaining feeders one after another. This tricks the snake into thinking it's eating one feeder when it is in fact eating multiple.

If a snake eats a few feeders on it's own, I don't really consider that power feeding. If it eats, it eats. If they don't want to eat, they won't bother with the rodent.

Well when was it born and how much does it weigh right now?

Not quite sure on the birthdate but I purchased him when he was pretty small. I'd say he's around 230g
