Some thoughts on the variances within morph combos....
Ok, so I am in love with super pewters, which is why I have invested in a few animals for the project. However, I was looking recently on WOB and the variance in-between just that combo is amazing! Some individuals look like winter camo.. with patches of dark gray, light gray, and white. While others just look like a "creamy slivered" super cinny, and others have some patterning on the neck, with the rest of the animal being a very light pinkish silver. Other combos are that way too, with so much variance inbetween individuals of the same combo.Look at super fires as well...you can get a pure white snake, a snake with yellow patches, and Ive seen a super fire that was white with cool bands of yellow along the back. I mean, the odds of getting a super pewter when you breed two pewters are one thing, but what about your odds of getting any one individual look when you breed two super pewters? Are you gonna get all "winter camo" from the pairing of two "winter camos" or are the babies all going to look completely different? Id love to hear from anyone whos paired the same combo together and has experience with this.

There's a lot of stuff on the dna strand that either lines up, or doesn't line up, even within the same clutch.
I have seen some crazy variability in clutches, and I don't think it matters what morph or normal you breed, you're going to see it.
Two sibling fires I produced last season ...
