Well they have 3 different chlorhexidine's and the one I have is different. I'm sure it's okay but you want to check your dilution.
The one I have recommends 1 oz per gallon of water, so I put 2 oz in a gallon of water per a friend who recommended doubling the dosage. I'm not sure about 4% and the 50/50 one either. Try to message The Serpent Merchant as he knows more about that stuff then me.

That's the one you want. Chlorhexidine diacetate is also an anti-viral, but it's very harsh and shouldn't be used on skin and especially not in the mouth. Sounds like you've got it right.

Gluconate is what vets use and you don't have to rinse it. Try not to get to much in the glottis though.

Ah ive been rinsing their mouths and i looked in the mouth of my lesser amd it seems to have gotten worse theres more of those redish looking spots on her inner lips.
Whats the glottis? Would that be the thing in the center that opens and closes?

Yes,that's what it is. If it doesn't get better with the rinses, she may need injectable antibiotics from a vet.

Hey im not 100% sure that im diluting the chlorhexidine properly for my disinfecting spray. Im currently using the one in the first picture i posted in this thread and im just putting some and adding water. Does anyone know how much it needs to be diluted to properly disinfect. Im using it in a spray bottle then wiping it with paper towel
