    Re: Snakes stolen!!! Attention!

I am so happy for you getting the majority of your snakes back, although not in the same condition they were taken. I really, truly hope you find the other two soon. The actions of some people is truly disgusting, and it saddens me daily, especially when I hear stories like this. This was a relatively good (almost?) ending to your story.

    Snakes stolen!!! Attention!

Glad you got them back and caught the scumbags.
I'm worried everyday I go home I will be missing snakes because my landlord let scumbags live in the apartment next to me. They've already stollen scrap from my pile and got caught. Hope they don't try to break in because they won't like me afterwards.

Glad they were found and I hope the other two are found soon too. And I REALLY hope the people that did this get charged as adults. A slap on the wrist will mean they just do it again. If they do some time they hopefully will think twice before doing this again. I think it's pretty ridiculous that minors can get off on committing crimes like this. I couldn't fathom stealing from someone even when I was younger. It's not about age it's their upbringing and their own personality that make this happen. When people aren't good people, the age doesn't have much of an effect in their decision making skills. I feel sorry for that unborn child for having to be brought up by criminals.

Those of us pretty local around Brandon were so happy to hear they got them back so quick. I hope they actually prosecute these guys. As far as I know Douche and his GF are still in jail (but I could be wrong). They NEED to do time!

That is epic and at 17 they should be tried as adults. I would urge you to be very careful in the kinds of information, names, and tone of posts you make on the topic... especially with minors involved. People are innocent until proven guilty (lol in this case...) but there are all kinds of details in the law where people can get cases thrown out for certain kinds of disclosure on the part of the prosecution. This is especially true with minors involved - there is a lot of law protecting the privacy of a minors. I'm probably completely wrong and maybe you've already done this, but I would consult with my lawyer about the kinds of names, details, etc that are or are not safe to post publicly.

HUGE congrats on the success of the sting! What a bunch of morons!

I was also about to post that he should be imprisoned on the haircut alone.

    Re: Snakes stolen!!! Attention!

Fug 'em. No mercy Brandon. Stay on it, and lean into it.

Best of luck in recovering the other two snakes. I also understand that recovering the animals doesn't make it "all better", but it is a positive step.

    But still, lean into it.

I don't know if your prosecutor's office is known for cutting deals (mine is). If you have any pull at all with your local government, make it very clear that any plea-bargain is contingent upon the safe return of those two animals.

It's a shame we can punish them like they did in old world Egypt and just cut their hands off!
