It's inside the cage....I tried to replicate the steps from one of the links.

Did you use the adhesive pad that came with the thermometer or some sort of other tape?

Would just like to thank you again and report that last night Juju finally shed! I saw her nudging last night against her hide... Woke up this morning and checked on her before work and she had it displayed nicely outside her hide. Her color looks gorgeous...hopefully she'll b out and about after she rests! She's 24 inches!
