Lightbulb Clutch #2 hatching, slightly bitter-sweet...

Pastel butter x spider clutch all pipped finally, with a couple out of the egg! Looks to be much better odds than my first clutch, and I think I hit the triple gene on this one...

The first out was teeny tiny, so I looked in the egg to find it was actually twins! Sadly from the looks of it, I dont think the second baby has survived No deformity but no movement either...

Here is the surviving twin. What do people think? Queenbee or butter spider?

...and a couple of randoms for good measure

So far 2 bumblebees, 1 butter, 1 butter pastel & a possible queenbee. 2 left to come, both have the spider gene too

Oh man, the body is saying queenbee to me, but the head is saying butter spider. Can I vote for revisting the question after first shed? Nice animal either way, congrats on a lovely clutch!

Thanks guys. If I've learnt 1 thing through this breeding season it has been I suck at identifying combos.

I think I agree, last baby out, and it's defo a lot whiter with a much more 'pastel' head...

Now that you have two to compare, voting butter spider for the first and queenbee for the second (much more convincing head). Congrats on a beautiful clutch!
