Opaque eyes on my little BP and hiding...shed?

I just read the shedding process that's up here and I think my BP Juju is going through it. Here eyes are very cloudy and blue/ opaque and she's been bundled in her hide on the warm side for the past two days with out moving day or night. I always have to check and see of she's breathing :-/ I know these are signs of shedding but could it been anything else? I just want to make sure! Also, she's due to be fed tomorrow....should I hold off? First time BP opener here! Gotta do everything right for my little Juju Kaa :-)

Everything sounds Ok, make sure her humidity is up, and I feed Lex regardless... so far she's eaten every time.

Try for 70 until she's done shedding.

Mine has a rough time shedding so sometimes I have to bump it up past 70. Mine eats fine while in shed. You can also buy some moss, get it nice and damp and put it in her hide so she has something to rub up against.

Opaque eyes on my little BP and hiding...shed?

Today's her feeding day, she usually eats two fuzzies every Wednesday always a good eater. I tried to feed her today and it took almost 10 minutes to take the mouse. I usually only wait 30 min in between her next meal and when I tried the 2nd time she wouldn't budge....should I try again later or tomorrow, or just wait till next week?

You're fine, your snake is going through the shedding cycle.

One thing to do is to bump the humidity up like others have said. I normally just mist the enclosures but I tried some moss in the hide for my Rufous Beaked and I can tell he didn't like it. So that may be an option for you if your snake doesn't mind it.

Re: Opaque eyes on my little BP and hiding...shed?

Two of my ball pythons will eat during shed and my pied baby won't. It's her first shed with me and I had no success feeding her. Seems like she could care less so I'm just letting her go.

So she's been in her hide for the past day and a half not moving....I opened her cage and lifted her hide and she started hissing at me. She's usually so docile. Should I not worry about trying to feed her again?
