    My ball python funny habit

We have been having trouble getting our little girl to eat since she got bit by a mouse. We tried a small rat , an adult mouse they another smaller rat all to no avail. We got two hoppers today since we knew she was hungry and needed her to eat. So right away she killed the mouse but then what she did next was unexpected she dragged the mouse to her water and put it in. A few min later my husband noticed her trying to get it out of the water so he moved it and she ate it. Then about an hour later she killed the other mouse and dragged it to her water dish and put it in the water again until my husband moved it out of the water and she ate again. I found this so funny and unique. I love our little girl. One of the best rescues ever.

If it gets to be a problem I would just remove the waterbowl for the feeding.

But some of them do seem to have little quirks.

Mine did that one time when he was having trouble finding the head. I guess he thought water would help get it down. By the time he got it to the water, he found the head. He just ate it right there in the bowl no problem.

I love hearing everyone's stories, now I feel better about the odd things my Ball does.
