Possibly a stupid question.
Is it possible to have a pewter ball python that could be mistaken for a cinnamon?

It would be pretty difficult to mix up the two. They look extremely different.

You could post a picture if you want us to identify the snake for you. Just to be sure

Re: Possibly a stupid question.
Here's why I ask. I have a male that was sold to me as a cinnamon from a cinnamon to pastel clutch. 1 of 2 things happened,
1. I screwed up in my documentation.
2. He is actually a pewter.
I'm guessing that I screwed up.
I paired him with a normal female, she layed four eggs which just hatched, 3 norms, 1 pastel.

Well I can tell you right now that that is a cinnamon, not a pewter. Has the normal female had any previous clutches? I'm thinking retained sperm maybe? Unless you accidentally put something with pastel in there with her?
