Help urgently!!!!! Power outage!!!!!!!
he'll be fine. big breeders take their snakes to shows for the weekend and leave them in the lobby where temps are 70-75ish for 2-3 days. if you're that worried, take him out and lay in bed for a while with him on your stomach.

Help urgently!!!!! Power outage!!!!!!!
i'd be more worried about him getting too hot. it is august. if the house starts getting above 85-90 just take him to a friends/neighbors house if u can and plug him up.

This gives you a opportunity to cuddle for awhile
BPs can deal with 70s it isn't ideal but they wouldn't have made it to the year 2013+ if they couldn't deal with some fluxuations.
Granted they aren't traped in glass boxes or plastic bins in Africa and left to the natural temps of a house.
looking at some graphs of temps and humidity of their countries
it isn't such a stable Hawaii 85° with a 90° hotspot all year.

Whoa guys. There is a whole lot of drastic measure being suggested here.
If the snake is between 60 and 90 degrees it'll be fine for days. I keep my snake room at 75 always.

The power came back on in the middle of the night, went back out, and came back on around 06:30am today.
Im having my Mom stop by in the early afternoon to check on the power, ad I'll be back around 2-3pm.
Thanks SOOOOoooo much for the suggestions...I'll know what to do next time

Good point. It would be different if the power were out for a week after a winter ice storm, or if the OP were incubating eggs.
Both scenarios are also why I have a generator and backup heating/cooling methods that don't rely on the power company as our infrastructure stinks, so I have to prep for the herps as well as for myself.

Re: Help urgently!!!!! Power outage!!!!!!!
FWIW, It's a good idea to have an emergency heat source for winter, whether for your snake or yourself. Consider a small camping propane heater. You can buy them at walmart / hardware / sporting goods store. They also sell relatively inexpensive propane bottles that go with them, and they store "indefinately". If you have a gas grill, you can use the 20lb. tank in a pinch with the right hose to convert it.
My little propane heater has sat collecting dust for several years now, but it's a peace of mind thing, and might save your snake in a winter storm.

Re: Help urgently!!!!! Power outage!!!!!!!
A great emergency measure is to keep a dozen hand warmers available in a drawer somewhere. Pop one or two, wrap in a couple layers of towel because they do get over 100 degrees and place in the cage. The snake will cuddle up between them. Just watch the temps. These are good for several hours and take just a minute to change out if you need to. Also the hot water in a bottle trick woks IF you have a gas stove top with which to heat it.
