I'm kicking myself right now. So last night we had some pretty cool weather roll through, it was in the 80s (yay deserts). Anyway, our bedroom, which has balls and one of our hogs, is detached from the main house and has an evaporative cooler. So we switched it to 'fan' mode since it really wasn't doing anything when it was cooling.
I guess we both forgot to switch it back to cool mode this morning, and when I did my nightly check on the guys, I was shocked to see that the ambient temp was 102 :/ I've refilled everyone's water bowls with lukewarm water and lightly misted. Right now I've got fans going and switched the cooler to high cool to drop the temps.
Everyone looks ok so far, but I'm very concerned about safely getting the temps to an acceptable level. Do I bring them into the main house (T of ~75)? Leave them to gradually cool off? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
