    Herpstat 1 issue..

My Hersptat 1's alarm keeps beeping at me, I unplug the probe and plug it back in and it fixes the issue...any ideas as to why this is happening?

Usually the alarm will go off if the temp is too high or too low. Or if the probe is unplugged. Double check all your temps and connections.

I've never had my herpstat alarm go off so this is just a guess!

    Re: Herpstat 1 issue..

I've had mine go off because I set my night drop lower than my emergency notification for low temps. As stated above check your settings and connections. If that seems OK, the website (Spyder Robotics) has a trouble shooter page.

Good to know because I plan on switching to Herpstat 1. I currently have the Vivarium Electronics VE-100 and I'm not happy with it.

I will check my settings..and probably set the lock as this is on my incubator and i dont have room for error. so far the temp hasn't gone above 91 but that even makes me a little uneasy.
    Thanks for your suggestions guys.

Neal, Good luck-it has been an amazing unit and done me well, i'm sure whatever's going on is just me not paying close enough attention to things and being careless
