It's always possible you will be bit, and most veterans will probably say you WILL get bit at some point.

I have a 3 month old, that struck at me after I first got him out of the box he was shipped in, but since, the only time he has stricken was at his food so far. I imagine I will get hit at some point but for now he has been very well-behaved.

Okay great, I'll pick those up this evening. Thank you so much for answering all of my questions. I just want to make sure that I do everything right for her. Do you think she has any chance at living a healthy life?

Thank you for this! It was a silly question, I know, but I just had to know She hasn't tried to bite me yet, but I'm sure it will happen.

At this age, she probably won't ever get to the weight she would have if she had been taken care of properly from the start, but that aside she should be fine.

A BP bite really isn't that bad anyway. Especially when they are that small. It's almost comical even.

I will do so! She had a soak tonight, and I got quite a bit of stuck shed off, but not nearly all of it. I purchased an adult f/t mouse, and she had it down within 10 minutes. She hasn't moved from her basking side hide. So, I'm hoping that means she's comfortable

That sounds pretty normal. BP's spend most of their time hiding. As the saying goes a hiding BP is a happy BP. Mine tend to come out most often between midnight and 2:00 AM.

Over the next week or so she should get settled in. After that it's just a matter of putting some weight on her. Hopefully she will appreciate getting a constant supply of appropriately sized for.
