    A newly shed new addition!

This guy arrived today and had shed in transit. I apologize for the horrible photography but this guy is not the easiest to take pictures of. After toying with the camera settings a little bit these were the best I could do. I tried to make it quick so I could get him tucked neatly into his place in the QT rack. 650g toffino spider male from Tom Harbin. I know I don't have a huge albino project but this boy will change that. Now to go find him some more albino girlfriends!

Good night Chesty, wherever you are....

Yeah its a toffee albino spider. The crazy thing is that toffee and albino are 2 recessive traits that are compatible so it's not necessarily a true double recessive as it only carries 1 copy of each recessive trait. At least that's how I understand it. If you breed albino x toffee you would think you would get all DH toffino but that's not the case. If I am not mistaken albino x toffee = 100% toffinos. Maybe somebody on here can clarify if they see this post. I know that breeding to het albinos could land you with het toffees and het albinos for which it would be next to impossible to distinguish so breeding him to a visual albino eliminates that problem.

Huh-uh. I like this guy better than the GHI. Andy just has some hot snakes. I don't fully know about Toffee either, but he's hot!

He's neat! I like how he doesn't look like an albino spider, very cool.
