    Unhappy Worried

I picked up my baby Ball Python yesterday and noticed that her eyes where very blue. From what I understand, this is a sign that a snake is about to go into shed, so I immediately placed her back into her enclosure. She seemed rather lethargic; I'm assuming because she couldn't see, but she made her way back to her hide. Anyway, I just checked on her and her eyes don't seem blue at all anymore and there is no shed and she still seems a lil sluggish....maybe it's just me being a novice, but is this normal? Today, an experienced snake keeper advised me to raise the humidity, so I used one of my tricks that I use for my tarantula species that require higher humidity. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about her being sluggish. But I can tell you that the eyes clearing up is perfectly normal. They'll be blue, and then they clear up 1-3ish days before the shed

A snake will go blue, clear up, then shed so she probably hasn't shed yet. I'd mist the enclosure to help aid her shedding. I usually don't handle mine when they're in blue but I notice they are extra shy/secretive when they're in this stage.

Hey. I just dealt with this too. My boy turned blue last Wednesday. He cleared up on Sunday, and shed late last night. Almost 1 week.

Just give it time. It'll happen. I was worried too

This and what type on enclosure do you have him in? Tank or a Rack?

There is a couple different tricks to raise the humidity I just need to know what enclosure you have him in.
