Pillow Case
Can a pillow case be used as a snake bag?

Re: Pillow Case
Yes. I've done it on several occasions. Just make sure it's clean and doesn't have any grossness on it.

Also, no holes.
It was kind of an emergency rescue situation and I had grabbed an old, clean pillowcase without looking it over. I grabbed the snake and put it in and was confused when suddenly the snake was halfway out on the ground.
Keep in mind that snakes can still bite through a pillow case.

I used pillow cases more often than "snake bags".
The extra long pillowcases(king size?) are easy to tie a knot in the 'neck'.

Definitely. My large snakes get pillow cases.

I keep pillow cases on hand as well for snake bags.

its not for venomous snakes, for venomous ones you really need the extra long but not too wide snake bags, because they can bite through it and you need extra length to get a distance to the snake in the bag when you make the knot.
But for ball pythons its fine and quite normal to use pillow cases. No need for snake hooks and the extra long specialized snake bags and that stuff.
it also was in that funny thread: "You know you are a BP owner when....... You have 20 pillowcases but just 2 pillows"

Re: Pillow Case
Yes, just make sure the case is clean, and if the snake is venomous, make sure that you don't carry against your body as they can bite through the pillow case.
