    Red face thank you bpnetters

I have had toke now for almost two months. When I first got her I knew NOTHING about snakes and would prolly never have owned one, except for I got talked into taking my ex's by our son. In any case , I am grateful I found bp.net because with all the useful and factual information. On here I soon felt really comfortable owning Toke. She has really grown on me. We just went through our first shed together and although it wasn't a perfect shed, I felt comfortable and confident handling what had to be done. (do snakes yawn? Toke just opened wide at me.....yikes. Time to put her up for the night.)

Although I can't say I'm feeling addicted or want another like I was when I got my first tattoo I can say I no longer fell like going ick when someone talks about owning and "playing" with hurt snake. I have always been one to believe that snakes belong in the wild and not in a cage. I still feel that way pretty much. Anyway I'm babbling. For pictures of Toke u can look me up on fb crystlew123@gmail.com because this site for some reason won't cooperate and load then from my phone and I don't have a computer with internet access right now.

Once again, thanks to all you who helped, provided information, and welcomed me and Toke to the site!

    Crystle

Awesome! I think I read one of ur earlier posts, but glad you're enjoying your pet snake... n yes BP's tend to yawn I find it cute not sure why they do it. If it's after a feeding it's to realign jaw ligaments, but they do it randomly too, it makes for great pics hehe!
