I remove my ball python from his enclosure to feed him. How long AFTER he has swallowed his rat should i wait to put him back in his enclosure??
Just feed him in his enclosure and you can eliminate that step.

And easier on the snake. Mike is right. When your snake is up and ready to feed, its not the best time to be moving them around. I feed all my snakes inside their cage or tub.
