Albino ball pythons

I went to a reptile show this weekend, and I was considering buying a albino ball. However they all seemed to be a little washed out with there color. My question is do they get darker as they get older? As I have seen some albino's that have had darker yellow and others that seemed very light. Thanks for your help.

Babies tend to be much higher contrast than their adult counterparts. Try either looking for the most high contrast one you can find, or get a black pastel albino.

The ones I saw at the show, were a very light yellow in color. They were $250 for males and $350 for females. How does that price compare to the price of the albino's with the black pastel gene ? Thanks.

Usually the more brighter ( High Contrast) the deeper you will reach into your pockets. When it doesn't come to cash Its also all about preference. Some people like the brighter albinos and some like the duller albinos.
