I found this guy too, I like his coat. I've never ordered an animal by shipping before though, not sure how skeptical I should be.

How late into the year will breeders have hatchlings? And how young can I get and have them to be on frozen thawed?
Nice little enchi male, I like him. Make sure you do research on any breeder. Kingsnake and faunaclassifieds both have feedback forums (KS has a feedback forum, right guys? It's late here...) where you can look up a breeder to find out their reputation.

BTW, here's that guy's BOI (Board of Inquiry) list: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...archid=3125299 Since it looks like he hasn't had any postings in a while I would work on getting a FC account and inquire on if anybody has done business with him recently.

Some breeders get their babies on F/T right out of the egg. It usually doesn't take much to switch a hatchling over to F/t mice or rats.

How limited am I in terms of morph options under$100?

People typically have hatchlings hatching pretty late in the year. October hatchlings are not uncommon. We are looking at August and September if not October just for babies to hatch and most breeders won't sell a babies until its eating reliably. So at the earliest 3-4 weeks after they hatch. Also to consider is lots of people are saying they are having a late year this year.

If i were you, id go on WOBPs and see the many different morphs/colors you like, make a list of the ones that "speak" to you, and then do some pricing online, as well as here. That will narrow down what you can afford on your "like" list. Its where i found my next two picks. Wanting a hatchling and willing to settle for a male will be on your side because hatchling males will be the cheapest in the bracket for that morph. But like everyone else said, id save for the show....shows are show much fun and worth the wait

I would think so. I went to a show last December and I'd say about 75% of the snakes were hatchling balls. Just about every table had a collection of balls, some bigger than others. I'd try to get to the show as early as possible, before everyone gets to the good stuff

If you really cant wait until october where you will be sure to get a single gene animal for 100 and 0 shipping i suggest driving up to Phoenix. Christian at Predators Reptile Center in Mesa is a good guy. Ive gotten 2 animals from him now and both are great, the best eaters and good looking... i saw light cinny of his last weekend in San Diego that was beautiful.
