What is this from?
Gave it a while and still no good answers, so I am remaking this post. I am trying to find out what may have caused this? It happened shortly after shed shed, humidity stays 70+ at all times, heat is 81 ambient and 88 basking spot. She seems very happy, eats like a champ. She's been living this way since she was purchased, only difference now is her tub is bigger. This has never happened and this is the only spot on her that looks like this.

Dangit lol, forgot to say its not stuck shed, already tried that lol. Let's put it this way, after she shed I checked like I do with all of my snakes and her shed was all together, no rips. Then a week later that spot came up. I tried the warm damp wash cloth trick, but that seemed to make it look like it does now. I planned to leave it alone until next shed. I just want to know if anyone else has run into this before?

Also, that small water bowl is only a secondary one, I have a BIG one over the warm side to help generate more humidity

What kind of furniture you got in the enclosure? Looks liked damaged scales from rubbing on something abrasive while shedding. Notice how the scales are much more damaged on the thicker part of the snake? I'm guessing your brb tried to squeeze through or under something and didn't quite fit. The damage is worst where the snake was thicker then lessens as it tapers off toward the tail which seems consistent with this type of wound.

All she has is the 2 water bowls that also act as hides. Did she maybe become restless and try to get out after I moved her to her new tub and maybe rubbed it on one of the lips of the bowls a little too hard?

I don't think its a WOUND, but I agree, it seems to be damaged scales. If you consider that a wound, it would be the most minor you could get lol. Is she going to be ok just letting her shed it out?

Re: What is this from?
Looks like she has rubbed hard on something?
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

It's a rub. Brazilians are prone to that in my limited experience with them. Next shed it'll probably be gone only to return when she tries to squeeze past or under whatever she's rubbing on. It sort of like but not as serious as chapped hands.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
