Tractor supply bedding

So I decided to switch to aspen and I keep getting told to check tractor supply.
They have a good deal on apsen and I might consider it.
But first when doing so should I bake it or freeze it before putting it with my Bp's?
I know some people do this but is it an absolute must? And if so how long do u freeze it? And how much at one time?

We use the aspen bedding right out of the bag. You may also want to try your local farm co-op to see if they can order in the large bags of Aspen II, sometimes you can get it cheaper than Tractor Supply. Good luck and I hope this helps!

It really helps, ill get some from tractor supply and then look around for better bulk prices for the next time thank you

I've been using the aspen from tractor supply for at least a year. never had a problem using it right out of the bag.
