It will go away after a few sheds. That means your baby is relatively young or just hasn't grown much since hatching.

    Thank you

One more question.. Any ideas on how to get the temperature higher? It's always between 75-80 and the humitidy is between 50-60? I have a black light (the one that shines purple light) on, and I usually switch it to a day time light which I heard isn't actually needed. Could I get a second black/red light and have them on at the same time on one side of the cage?

You may need to use a heat mat and a heat lamp. That's pretty cold for a bp tank. During the summer my cool side is around 80 degrees. In the winter it drops as low at 75, but I don't let it get lower. The warm side needs to be much closer to 90. Mine are 88-92.

How much is it for a heat pad? and does it just sit under the tank? not actually in it? and should I buy a higher wattage heat light?
