Feeding baby ball

Just tried to feed my baby ball python for the second time trying and he seemed interested at first then it kinda faded away.... I got the fuzzy warm again and went ahead and tried a method I've been instructed to tell. I put the mouse in a brown paper bag and just put him in there as well. How long should I keep him in there? I'm thinking around 30 mins to see what happens. Any other suggestions?

Hammer-- when you say baby ball python. How old is he? Is he a hatchling? Has he eaten frozen thawed before? How long have you had him? Need a bit more of his story before can answer the questions

Not a hatchling. He's eating fuzzys I know that. I've had him about a week. And they store said he's had at least one frozen thawed before.

Just got him out of the brown paper bag and HE ATE!! So happy for him. Just put him back in his tank and he went to his hide. He's hanging his body out of the hide though.

Well darn! See...I answered and fixed it for you....not. I'm glad he ate and I'm sure that's a huge relief!! Gratz!

Glad he ate. In the future you can feed him in the elclosure, you have higher chances of him eating right away. Also will often eat it if you just leave it on the ground in the enclosure or in front of the hide.
