Snake Jacuzzi? I think it could be marketed to snake-loving public
Has anyone ever caught their ball chilling in the water dish, and not in a state that looked dire? I'm not worried or concerned because I know it's not dehydrated or mite-bearing, but it's always funny walking in on a snake taking the term skinny dipping highly literally.
So this morning I walk in to the reptile room and see a snake taking a bath. It was back in its hide within an hour so I wasn't freaked about it being stressed.
Has anyone ever had a snake poop in its water? I haven't even had a ribbon snake poop in water, and they are like slithering poop hoses.

Ride the snake, ride the snake/ To the lake, the ancient lake, baby/ The snake is long, seven miles/ Ride the snake...he's old, and his skin is cold... (The End, The Doors)

I had Magnus out for a soak once, back when I was naive in the ways of husbandry and still giving him pre-shed soaks. The warm water got his bowels moving. That was the stinkiest poo I ever had to clean up, and it was in my bathroom sink. Lol.
He's never had a habit of soaking in his water bowl though, although some people's critters love taking baths of their own accord.

None of my ball pythons soak, but my BCI does all the time (mite free). He also uses his water bowl as a litter box haha. He always takes a dump in the water which is actually nice, because then I just have to clean the water dish! Thanks Mr. snake!
