    Out during the day??

My snake sleeps a lot of course. But the last few days I haven't seen him much during the night time but he's been coming out during the day some. Is that ok? Or is that not normal?

As long as the snake is eating/shedding/pooping like normal, it probably isn't cause for concern.

Day time activity can sometimes be an indication of stress especially if the snake is not eating.

Maybe your snake wants some new hides? or the temps are a little off?

Im not sure. As soon as I put his new hide in the tank he went in it. He uses that one everytime as it is small than the other and he can climb up it if he wants. But temps I'm still working on. The hot side I have a uth hooked up to a rheostat which I'll be replacing with a thermostat in a few days. But the uth was putting out close to 110-115 at the glass but now it's around 94-96 at the lowest setting on rheostat. The rest of the tank stays around 75-80. And the humidity stays around 40-60 percent. I spray down once in awhile.

Temps don't sound too bad. A thermostat will help bring that hot side down slightly.

So he is eating okay? I wouldn't worry too much. maybe some tighter fitting hides?

Ok good. And I've only had him about 5 days and tried to feed him Sunday but he didn't seem interested.... I'll be trying again in a couple days.

Like stated before if temps are okay no worries. For some reason my little mojave girl sits in her hide with her head hanging out she eats and poops fine and temps are perfect, she's just goofy I guess. Lol

Haha sounds good. Although he hasn't eaten just yet, but will try again soon. And I haven't noticed any poop yet either....

No worries, some eat right away, and some need some time to settle in. Just let him be until he eats and don't worry, he'll poop when he needs to.
