Ok guys update time..

First of all Im sorry.. I was seriously joking about her getting that big... guess that whats I get when I dont put the LOL's

Anyhow.. thank you all for your posts... We took what some of you said and went to the Vet with it. The egg has moved... not a whole lot but it has moved.... so we asked about waiting til monday and he said that would be fine... 8 days out and something about the egg starting to harden. So he gave her another shot... she is now back home... and will get a warm bath in a lil bit...and hopefully this do the rest. Again thank you all very much.


Also she is pink under her belly....... would she shed?

OK... update time..


well Akia did not pass the egg this weekend... She went to the Vet today, who again I really like, and he aspirated the egg...... well good thing is it shriveled up and you cant tell its in her. My son took her and said they had to use two tubes to get all the stuff out of it. SO lets hope she passes it.. she is not enjoying her warm baths like she should..... I tell her its for the best... but she aint having it..... hahahaha......

I had this same thing happen last year to my 2000g normal female. Laid 5 eggs and retained one. I read all sorts of stuff and decided that after a week of it being stuck in there, to aspirate. I drained a whole bunch of the egg out of there and it looked much better instantly because it wasnt such a bulge in her. 2 weeks later we saw this:

'twas really gross but it came out all on its own. My girl started to eat before it came out so I don't know if poo helped it come out or what. But I do know she pooed the same time that the egg came out. Hang in there man. I'm sure it will be fine.

My girl FINALLY passed her stuck egg....... Even though the vet took a lot out when he aspirated it.... ITS still pretty big.... and kinda full......... Anyhow... I had to let you guys know.. Im soooooooooooooo happy its out...

Always good to get some practice! It won't be nearly as gross when its fertile eggs with babies about to pop out.

Im sure that egg went putrid before it came out haha
