need help deciding what male to get??? help
hey guys im trying to decide if i should get either a mojave proven breeder for 150, a pinstripe proven breeder for 150, or a bumblebee male 800 grams never been breed for $200. Now i know that the ovious answer for most people would be the bumblebee because its a 2 gene male but for me all i have is 3 normal females 1500 grams plus so if i bred a bumble bee to it all i would get is pastels, spiders, and normals, versus breeding the mojave or the pinstripe to the normals and getting either half mojos or half pinstripes which both sell more than spiders and pastels so i guess the question is what hatchlings are worth more mojave, or pinstripes? thanks!!!

You should get what you enjoy most.
Also, if you are breeding, quality matters, not just price.
Personally I like good quality bee's, so I would go with the bumblebee.
Good luck

^this.
I would go for the bumblebee if it's a good bee. I would much rather get a clutch of pastels, spiders, bumblebees with only (hopefully) fewer normals than a clutch with statistically a 50/50 ratio (granted, the chance is per egg but you should see roughly a 50/50 split unless you have really good or really bad odds on your eggs) of getting a morph. Yes, pinstripes and mojaves sell for more as hatchlings, but if you get a clutch with more morphs using the bumblebee, they might add up to a bigger profit despite them being cheaper morphs...if that makes any sense.

I would try to get both the Mojave and the pinstripe. But I'm a fan of the Mojave gene more than spider/pastel.

X2 If you are getting a high quality bee for 200 then I would say that is by far the best value. My guess is that at the prices listed you are getting a better pin or mojo for 150 then a bee for 200 but as the saying goes a picture is worth a 1000 words.
