Identity Help!!! A bit wordy I'm sorry...

    So a little back story...

Early last year I came into possession of 2 Virgin Normal(?) females from a seller on Craiglist for $70. No History on these girls and aside from being underweight and dehydrated they seemed fine. They are very pretty with high gold markings and have red blush backs. At the time I thought Nothing of it was just concerned with getting them healthy. They were great they ate like champions and quickly gained weight. I decided to begin cooling them as their 3 month minimum quarantine was nearly at an end.

We paired the larger of the two with our Spider male and she didn't produce.

The other (the nicer of the pair IMO) we paired with our Bee.

She laid 5 eggs and we got 1.0 Normal(?) 0.2 Pastels and 1.1 Spiders.

The Normal male and Spider female immediately caught my eye. He is extremely Dark Black along his back and she is very busy with Spots running along her sides were alien heads would normally be. As they shed the female is getting more golden and the males back is beginning to show the same red blushing that Mom has...

We decided to hold them back and I started to do some research.

I believe their Mom may be Het Red Axanthic however I have found it very hard to find many pictures of Spider het Reds.

    Which brings us to 2013.

The Female was up to 2000 grams producing follicles within 6 months of laying so I decided to pair her with my Bee again.

    7eggs

3 Bees, 2 normals, 1 Spider and 1 Pastel were the result as of yesterday.

I came home today and we have 1 Spider, 1 normal and THIS GUY out of the Eggs...

Normally I pride myself on my knowledge of genetic but I am finding it hard to compare him with other Bumblebee Het Reds because there seems to be a high Variance in how the gene expresses itself in the heterozygous form.

If she rebounds as well this year I plan on pairing her with a Black Pastel to try and prove her out as a Het Red next season.

Either way he is a Screaming Bee and personally I think he's nicer than his Sire.

If anyone here is experienced with Red Axanthic and Het Reds I would appreciate the Input.
