    gravid or building?

I have a het pied female that has been off of food since last november/december. Plus, she was only paired with a het pied male and she would not lock with any other since december. The male died of an upper ri and we just waited to see if she would go by him since they were both het pieds. She has been laying inverted and moving back and forth on the hot and cold sides, but she drags her water bowl to the hot side mostly to lay under it. Another thing is that she hasn't shed since december 17th. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

She has been laying like this for a while now.

We took this pic tonight of her bowl wrapping.

Here's a pic of her belly letting it hang down.

I have never seen a ball python go 5+ months without shedding, I bet you missed writing down a shed somewhere along the line.
Most of my big girls shed every 10 to 12 weeks apart.

Generally, if they spend any time on the cool side, they are not gravid, but building. I've seen my girls laying inverted both when gravid and when building, even with smaller follicles, so that's not a reliable "tell." Although I notice they spend more time inverted while building than gravid.
